2016-08-18_0719Once again we are delighted with the results achieved by our students. Overall achievement has risen considerably from 2015 with three quarters of all grades this summer being at A*-C. Eight have achieved a superb clutch of 3 A*s and A grades. The “value added” in our 6th form is high, something we are very proud of in the light of our policy of giving opportunities to a broad range of post-16 students.

Our AS students have also done very well. In this period of changes to exam specifications we are pleased to see excellent results continuing.

Sixth form students contribute a great deal to St Laurence and their success, in both academic and vocational subjects, is well deserved. We are proud of those going on to apprenticeships and jobs, as well as the many who will now be looking forward to starting a university course in the next few months. We congratulate them all and wish them all the very best for the future.
