Please find below a letter to sent to parents and carers from the Headteacher on 5th January with a copy of the online learning expectations also available to download here.
Dear Parents and Carers
You may have seen yesterday’s announcement by Gavin Williamson (Secretary of State for Education), with updated information on the reopening of schools after the Christmas break: further guidance has been issued to schools last night and again this morning. It may be helpful, as a variety of information has been circulated in the press, to summarise what this means for your children at St Laurence. Please see a copy of the letter sent to parents and carers and available to download below.
We are awaiting further Government updates and guidance which is due this evening. Once we have the further guidance we will be in touch over the the next few days by email to outline plans for next week. Please remember that Monday 4th January is a training day and NO students should be in school on that day.

We are delighted to be able to bring you our latest issue of Connect which is available in the link below, as well as the newsletters page here.
We really hope you enjoy reading about the achievements and activities of our school community during the last few months.
In spite of the fact that due to prevailing restrictions, our small student team who work on Connect were unable to meet after school, we are proud that they have worked hard remotely, so that we are able to publish this issue. In particular we would like to thank the following students: Catherine Davis, Hannah Jenkins, Daisy Loescher and Stephen Underwood
