Senior Ski Trip (Years 11, 12 & 13)

Following the success of yet another Senior Ski Course over half term to the Italian Alps it is our pleasure to announce the launch of our trip for 2016 to Pila in The Aosta Valley, Italy.
The main focus of this school trip is learning to ski and developing existing skills to the highest level. A good level of physical fitness is required. Students are expected to ski for a minimum of 4 hours each day and could get up to 7 hours depending on ability, conditions etc. All levels of ability are welcome.

Please be aware that the dates for the Bronze DofE Expedition have changed. Instead of Friday 19th – Saturday 20th June 2015 as initially planned The expedition will now take place from Saturday 20th – Sunday 21st June 2015.

Please contact Mr Bailey/Mr Bouquet if this change of dates will be a problem for you.


Please note the date that the Year 8 Term 5 Reports will be issued has been changed to Thursday 30th April.


For the fourth year running we are going on our residential trip to Buckfast Abbey in South Devon.

Trip Dates: July 3rd – 5th 2015

This year’s theme of Journeys, ‘steered’ by Mr Watkin, will take us on a boat trip and steam train. We will reside in the beautiful Benedictine Abbey in Buckfastleigh.

The following courses and activities are available:
• Yr 10 RE Group
• Junior Choir
• Yr 7 and 8 Boys’ Choir
• Song Writing Club
• Creative Instrumental Music
• Music Technology

While we are away we will study and create original songs and instrumental music, and give a concert in the abbey church. This will all be recorded and made into a CD by our Music Technology students. The CD will be available on 8th July at the Boogie Nights concert event at the Wiltshire Music Centre.
