On Tuesday 7th July students in Year 9 are invited to the launch of the Bronze DofE Award. The launch will take place in the Lecture Theatre from 15:15-15:45. Places on the award are limited to 50; please make sure you attend this meeting to collect an application letter. If you are unable to attend the meeting then please see Mr Bailey before to collect a letter. The cost of the award is £60.

On Wednesday 8th July students in Year 10 are invited to the launch of the Silver DofE Award. The launch will take place in the Lecture Theatre from 15:15-15:45. Places on the award are limited to 50; please make sure you attend this meeting to collect an application letter. If you are unable to attend the meeting then please see Mr Bailey before to collect a letter. The total cost of the award is £150.

This year will see the continuation of the St Laurence School Charity Walk after a one year absence. For 2015, the School Charity Walk will be raising money for each of our chosen house charities.

Students start the walk through the beautiful countryside around the school shortly after registration, accompanied by tutors and other staff, and return to school before 3.00pm. (Those with signed permission from their parent/guardian are allowed to go home early. See letter below.)

Senior Ski Trip (Years 11, 12 & 13)
February Half Term 2016

Following the success of yet another Senior Ski Course over half term to the Italian Alps it is our pleasure to announce the launch of our trip for 2016 to Pila in The Aosta Valley, Italy.
The main focus of this school trip is learning to ski and developing existing skills to the highest level. A good level of physical fitness is required. Students are expected to ski for a minimum of 4 hours each day and could get up to 7 hours depending on ability, conditions etc. All levels of ability are welcome.
