We are delighted with an excellent set of GCSE results. 88% of our students achieved a Grade 4 or above in English, 83% achieved a Grade 4 or above in Maths and 79% of our students achieved at least a Grade 4 in both English and Maths (equivalent to the old grade C).

We are very proud of the 29 students have achieved 8 or more grades of 7 or above (equivalent to the old A grade) across their subjects, and are equally proud of all those students who achieved well across the grade range and have been able to move on to the next step in their education. Enabling all our students to achieve the best results they can, while encouraging them to develop a wide range of skills, remains one of our key aims, so we are extremely pleased with the progress they have made in their time at St Laurence so far. As well as English and Maths, there have been particularly strong results in the Sciences, Dance and Business Studies.

Many congratulations to all our students, who have worked really hard, with the support of their teachers and families. We look forward to welcoming many of them into our sixth form shortly.
