Dear Parent/Carer,

We are awaiting further Government updates and guidance which is due this evening. Once we have the further guidance we will be in touch over the the next few days by email to outline plans for next week. Please remember that Monday 4th January is a training day and NO students should be in school on that day.

Thank you

St Laurence School

We are delighted to be able to bring you our latest issue of Connect which is available in the link below, as well as the newsletters page here.

We really hope you enjoy reading about the achievements and activities of our school community during the last few months.

In spite of the fact that due to prevailing restrictions, our small student team who work on Connect were unable to meet after school, we are proud that they have worked hard remotely, so that we are able to publish this issue. In particular we would like to thank the following students: Catherine Davis, Hannah Jenkins, Daisy Loescher and Stephen Underwood

Year 7 Virtual Carol Service and Christmas Concert

As it has not been possible to celebrate Christmas with our annual Carol Service at Holy Trinity Church in Bradford-on-Avon this year, students in Year 7 have recorded our service in the auditorium of the Wiltshire Music Centre – and we decided to record a concert too, while we had a suitably large space!

Due to COVID restrictions, rehearsal time has been limited to one lesson per class, and it has been wonderful to see how hard the students have worked to learn and perform their music and readings in such a short space of time.

Thanks to all our peripatetic Music teachers who have supported our students with these events, especially Kim Rance and Esther Taylor who gave up their time to come and help with the recordings.
